I try to make kids comfortable, playful sessions are the key to getting candid moments and show personality versus posed where children just feel uncomfortable. Of course with a full gallery of over 50+ images there will be some posed portraits with everyone looking at camera and smiling. That is not easy to achieve with small children neither do you want awkward faces lol but in this case I had supermodels that love being in front of camera so of course there was some serious overshooting.

I have been capturing life for this gorgeous mom since her first pregnancy and love seeing her little ones in front of my camera every year. This session was styled by me, at my current favorite beach location in South Florida. The weather was great all day and for golden hour the winds got so crazy, a storm was coming next day and it was so challenging for all of us. Strong wind, hair flying, can only face certain direction, baby that hates camera lol We thought it was definitely a reshoot which I barely ever need to do. So results surprised us all, love movement from wind, perfect mood for beach. Clients do not be afraid of stormy skies or strong wind it adds to results and looks amazing, Mark and I do our magic with all the other family photography aspects.

I love beach maternity, nature background is just perfection for this special time. Wind, waves, clouds, gorgeous colors and at this particular location cool rocks. We provide all the outfits so you don’t have to worry about planning your shoot. I really recommend showing off that gorgeous belly, specially at the beach and getting in the water if possible. This family is gorgeous and sweet, kids loved the camera and we all had so much fun! It’s always a bonus if family pet is included and my favorite location allows that. Perfect weather, beautiful light, so many adorable moments captured. Also we include all the images which is usually over 50 for a family shoot, my signature style editing on all. All inclusive means you do not have to pick images from proofs because with emotional photography it’s just too hard and this was something my clients mentioned many times few years ago when our packages did not include all the photos. The goal is to capture personalities, lifestyle photos that are natural and candid.

This family was on vacation, little cutie was very amused by the fact that lake had gators and wanted to see one. Weather was perfect and for snack breaks her parents had olives and pickles how adorable. Love creating these little stories for clients!

Cutest story from this shoot is older sister thought Mark and I were doctors when she arrived. We had to work a littler harder to convince that wasn’t the case lol She was much happier outside, smiling, playing and posing. Baby was all smiles, sitter sessions are my favorite! Family photography is a must specially when kids are growing up so fast. We always try to get some posed portraits but lifestyle is what I specialize in and that’s how we capture personalities best.

This family was joy to work with, we didn’t want to leave! Everyone had so much fun, it didn’t feel like photo shoot just family enjoy a beach day. Controlled everything like light, weather, no wind and great temperature lol Everyone had fun including the most adorable puppy. I say that about all kids and pets because it’s true all adorable and reason why I still love my job after 13 years.
We did many shoots for this family starting with newborn and it’s so amazing watching kids grow up in front of camera. This location and sunset was a dream, weather was perfect but mosquitos were bad. I have favorite locations near Boca however we meet clients at parks near them all the time and really any nature park will have great results so we are happy to try new places. Best and funniest part at the end of session when girls were tired and ready to go home, they ran to Mark for comfort and hugs lol Also overshooting is a specialty of mine, you will get all the photos and a reason why I can’t offer minis, I love every single photo from each gallery.
No one will argue with me if I say that chasing toddlers at a photo shoot is a really good workout lol They are so fast, try and catch some shots not just with smiles but in focus. I promise it’s not as easy as it looks but it’s so worth it, I edit with big smile on my face, cheeks hurt, the most adorable moments you will want to remember because it all flies by so fast.
