The weather is so unpredictable during hurricane season in Florida lol you can watch the forecast all day the skies will be changing every 5 minutes. The point is to just drive to location and see what happens. We got lucky on this day because driving to the beach with clear skies and getting there to see lightning was a little stressful. I do love overcast, crazy dark clouds for maternity, wind is awesome for hair and fabric movement but if it rains we just have to continue another day if possible. My client was a star, it was so much fun capturing this special time for her, I couldn’t stop till it was dark. Also I really recommend ending the shoot in the water, gorgeous!

I have been capturing life for this gorgeous mom since her first pregnancy and love seeing her little ones in front of my camera every year. This session was styled by me, at my current favorite beach location in South Florida. The weather was great all day and for golden hour the winds got so crazy, a storm was coming next day and it was so challenging for all of us. Strong wind, hair flying, can only face certain direction, baby that hates camera lol We thought it was definitely a reshoot which I barely ever need to do. So results surprised us all, love movement from wind, perfect mood for beach. Clients do not be afraid of stormy skies or strong wind it adds to results and looks amazing, Mark and I do our magic with all the other family photography aspects.

This family is gorgeous and sweet, kids loved the camera and we all had so much fun! It’s always a bonus if family pet is included and my favorite location allows that. Perfect weather, beautiful light, so many adorable moments captured. Also we include all the images which is usually over 50 for a family shoot, my signature style editing on all. All inclusive means you do not have to pick images from proofs because with emotional photography it’s just too hard and this was something my clients mentioned many times few years ago when our packages did not include all the photos. What happens when clients can’t reschedule maternity photoshoot due to weather during rainy summer season? In this case we decided to start early to miss the rain but instead it started pouring when we got to location so we started with portraits at home and hoped for some rain free hours before sunset. It happened! The crazy clouds disappeared and we drove to closest park, the location was small park with playground but looks like we were somewhere in nature woods right? It was sooooo humid and the bugs were crazy after rain but omg the gallery is gorgeous! Never worry, just enjoy your session, we won’t let you leave unless we got the best results. Also we bring up to 3 maternity gowns making it so much easier to plan your session.

What a beautiful family and just so sweet, thankful to be their photographer! 4 little kids keep them very busy and getting their attention was a lot of moving, playing and chasing lol I’m sure in the moment parents are worried that we barely got any good shots with kids this age however lifestyle photography is about capturing their personalities and not so much about posing and keeping them in place. We did get few great family portraits plus the most adorable moments, the gallery is amazing.

First Birthday cake smash lifestyle by VZmoda

I met this cutie for the first time not long ago when we did his newborn session. Now what a difference, he was all smiles for his parents and big brother. When I got a little closer he gave me the cutest angry face, good because of stranger danger lol We finished this shoot with a cake smash. For those who are not familiar with cake smash shoots 50% of babies will love it while the other half will cry and absolutely hate the new feeling and textures of frosting, it’s hilarious. Well this boy loved it and we got all the shots so fast had to take away the cake to avoid all that sugar. If you decide to bring cake to 1 year birthday shoot don’t forget baby wipes to get all that frosting off. The cutest!

Dream newborn package is all about capturing your little baby in the first two weeks. At this age they are sleepy and love being swaddled cozy in my props but once in a while I get a very curious 1 week old lol It was so adorable, he looked right at the camera and my pro baby whispering tricks of 12 years didn’t work haha Well he did take a quick power nap followed by more wide awake portraits. He was perfectly happy the whole time even smiled during his nap. I have to add my favorite phrase I LOVE MY JOB, how can I not with these adorable newborns.

This couple is so gorgeous! It’s basically rainy season in Florida all summer till end of October and the session started with thunder, pouring rain and crazy skies. The ocean background is gorgeous when skies are like this and even though we didn’t really plan to use beach, it was a must, specially when I saw the dress mom had on. I was a little concerned the light at the nature part of park won’t be ideal, it was too dark when to our surprise rain stopped and the sun came out for the most magical golden hour. The results are beautiful

I really can’t get over the fact that we live in paradise like Boca Raton Fl where it’s gorgeous, always sunny and we can do outdoor sessions all year. I always liked outside or lifestyle sessions more but living in Chicago we were stuck indoors often doing most of my work in studio which is beautiful just not something I want to do anymore. I really love shooting at new places here in South Florida even in the same park or beach there are still plenty of awesome spots to create magical background full of color and beautiful light. This mom is absolutely stunning, I really didn’t want this session to end.

This is our 4th session with this gorgeous family, I think they are all professional models well baby Charlotte is for a fact but they are also the sweetest and we love spending time with them. This was one of the funniest sessions because of donut smash! Valerie got the donut set up and it’s the cutest thing ever! Baby tried the donuts, cake and played with milk, she wasn’t afraid of getting covered in sprinkles and frosting, big success! We also did the family part outside in their neighborhood, gorgeous views there and included the doggies in Holiday photos! Enjoy, I am oversharing.

This adorable, 5 month old baby boy was visiting his grandparents in Florida and we got to capture the memories! It's such a cute milestone, it was a busy spring break kind of day, a lot of noise, people walking by and we still got so many smiles. Weather was perfect, baby was happy and pictures are priceless. This gorgeous and sweet family booked us for newborn and maternity session. It was such pleasure working with them. Maternity session was done at the beach and the weather was challenging that day but the photos turned out beautiful. This time we met at our in home studio for a cozy newborn photo shoot full of parent's favorite colors and the baby did amazing job sleeping through all the posing and set ups. I was looking forward to meeting this gorgeous couple and our goal was to get some outdoor shots but weather had other plans. The beach looked kind of intimidating that day and as soon as we started shooting it was pouring. We did get one amazing shot and you can see how the sky looked, no photoshop there! After getting soaked we left for studio but stopped at a park to try again since rain stopped for just 20 minutes it seemed like lol Anyway the weather was unpredictable that day but my client looked stunning and this gallery is beautiful plus I have to mention Valerie is so sweet, pleasure to work with, can't wait to meet their princess soon!
